Awesome Notch

Yesterday I visited Pekka on my way home from Oulu. He has this very early '62-'63 notchback, which is super cool! I love that original 'pre-S' model interior! He needs all fender beadings and rear reflector housing seals, let me know if you have some!

There were also a couple of nice beetles, but I missed to take pictures of them. Stupid me, oh well these cell phone pic's aren't the good anyway.

Topless - Ex-Pringles cabrio

A couple of years ago Pringles potato chips gave away 20 of these "hack saw cabrios". I spotted this one last weekend on my way to dinner, it has had recently fresh paint job from black to red and a funky looking rag top. Atleast that rear window is quite weird.

Trip to Salo and Helsinki

Last week I spotted a couple of nice Bay windows on my trip to south of Finland. And went to see Jari's '58 project too.

Notchback project starts!

I brought my Notchback to my garage yesterday. I't was drivable ;o) But only reverse gear was working. See video here. I'm planning on full restoration. Let's see how many years it will take...

Old Timer Run in St. Michel

We went to St. Michel last weekend, as there was a nice outdoor car show. http://www.oldtimerrun.info/ It was a 450km round trip and the bus worked well even there's was about 27°C temperature outside and the rpm's where 3100 at the speed of 80km/h. Some more pic's here.

My old '63 back in the streets of Joensuu

Kari picked up my ex '63 just a couple of weeks ago, and now the pan is welded, seats upholstered with new TMI products and new MWS Mk2 5-Spokes are on it, nice! Now it just needs big hit with that slamming stick! Or just hard driving.

Urhon Ajot 2009

Third time in a row we had mechanical problems at Ahvenisto and had to retire. This time our new rear brake disc got loose and lots it's treads completely. That meant car would not move as we do not have locking differential ;o/
