Meilenverk Berlin

Last month my friend visited Meilenverke in Berlin and sent me these photos. I got to admit I'm jealous. Definitely seems like a place to visit, no doubt.

Old Timer Run in St. Michel

We went to St. Michel last weekend, as there was a nice outdoor car show. http://www.oldtimerrun.info/ It was a 450km round trip and the bus worked well even there's was about 27°C temperature outside and the rpm's where 3100 at the speed of 80km/h. Some more pic's here.

Chinese New Year

Next week it will be Chinese new year and spring festival with one week holiday. Because of that there's fireworks and mandarine trees every where. This center piece appeared to our hotel lobby during last night.

A day of in Hong Kong

Yesterday I had some time to get to see Hong Kong, and the Peak was amazing experience! talking about acrophobia! That hill is steep! More photos to follow, as I'm not able to use ftp client on the road!

Another trip to Oulu, this time got a chance to see ice hockey and got have a photo with a celebrity.

Winter is near.

850km in two days, business trip to Oulu is over once again.

Newspaper surprise!

Funny surprise when flying back from Beijing yesterday. I found my colleagues on one picture in a wednesdays newspaper called the Ilta-Sanomat, and realized I was on the same flight from Vienna to Helsinki three weeks ago, where the picture was taken. A closer look and I found my own back of the head on the picture too! How many times would things like this happen? Sitting in an airplane reading a newspaper seeing yourself sitting in an airplane?

Tiananmen Square / Walk around the town

This must be my 6 or 7 visit to Beijing, but before I haven't had a day off, so today I went to see the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden city and took about 6km walk back to the hotel. I saw for example odd looking MB100 Van, two shops that were selling police car emergency light systems! Click Here for more photos.

Back In Beijing

This time view from the hotel room window consist of massive modern CCTV Tower on the right and on the left there's the new neck breaking China World Trade Center Tower III. It is a 330 m (1,083 ft) tall skyscraper with 74 floors.

Western or Chinese

Traditional chinese fried rice and traditional american? fries. A lonely travellers dinner.

The Symbol of the Phoenix City

There's this massive statue of the Phoenix bird at the main entrance of the housing area of tens of thousands people and massive 600 room five star Phoenix City Hotel.

What does Belleydantzah eat?

Kebab. Grilled kebab. We went for a dinner the other night to a great place called Thousand and ones nights restaurant. There was bellydancing every half an hour, and great grilled kebab meat!

Guangzhou China 5-8th. of Nov08

Phoenix Hotel, Guangzhou Guangyuan East Rd. Zengcheng P.R. China, back at my kantonese base, I've spent way too many nights here. Had a nice work out in the gym and refreshing swim in the outside pool area. Eases the 'hotellikuolema' (death by boredom) a little bit. But I'd rather be at home with kids or spending time working on my cars in my own garage. Well you can't win every time.
