SprintStars Powdercoated
Got my other set of 5,5" ET26 Sprints from the powdercoating. I think they look pretty cool like that. Wondering should I leave them like that or paint on the silver highlights like originals.

Nice bug from Nurmes
Jussis awesome '62 was on display at a car meeting in the town of Nurmes. Pea green TMI interior fits like a glove on a beryl green car.
There was also crazy '58 Sisu bus with leather couches inside, sleigh & old Singer sewingmachine as a roof ornament. How beautiful is that '61 ´vette, restored in early nineties. A Willy's Jeep is also a rare sight down here in the deep east.

Notch project - pan progress
Wow! I surprised myself today by pulling the Notchback pan out of the garage and trial fitting new pan half to the drivers side. I only had the funky greens laying around since December... I'm wondering should I get myself together and speed up the project a bit? It would be honourable thing to do, as I'm starting in a new job as a Project Manager next week ;D
Out with rusty old pan, in with the new quality panel from Gerson!

Rallye look for the TL
I red somewhere that back in the golden days they painted front hood flat black on rallye Type 3s, so at night time it would not reflect light and blind sight the driver. Well, I bought a spare hood last weekend, and could not resist to rattle as I can. Next will be the huge Hella driving lights and Autometer sport comp tacho, I quess.

Engine buiding processing slowly
Heads were lying on the garage table about three months... Finally I got myself going and with a little help from my friend we machined 1mm from the heads allowing decrease the capacity from 62cc to 56cc, so this way I can set the compression ratio with 1-1,5mm deck height near 9:1. Video from the action.
My brand new 044 and trial 1300cc heads on the background.
This neat tool to milling machine allows not only radial milling, but planing of the bottom too, as it is radially adjustable.
From 1300cc to 1600cc.
Comparing the result, the finish from the tool is better that original from the producer of the heads.
